Klaviyo suits online shops; Mailchimp suits most service businesses. I'll recommend one based on what you sell.
Can I email people who never subscribed?+
No. Australia's Spam Act needs consent, the US CAN-SPAM Act needs a clear opt-out and postal address, and the Philippines' Data Privacy Act protects personal data. I keep you on the right side of all three.
How often should I email?+
A monthly newsletter plus automated emails like the welcome series is a good start. More only if you have something worth saying.
